CLIENT BRIEF
The Association of Colleges (AoC) is a not-for-profit membership organisation set up in 1996. AoC represents and promotes the interests of more than 360 further education, sixth form, tertiary and specialist colleges across the UK – over 95% of the sector AoC initially appointed ask-re to act as agents to ‘search and find’ new alternative premises with a brief to find a new, modern suite of offices and to assist in the relocation.
OUR PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
ask-re acted as project manager to coordinate the timetable programme to design the space and create a light, modern environment, appoint specialist contractors. We liaised with Managing Agents and Landlords to achieve necessary permissions to ensure a practical use of the space whilst retaining the essential service required. ask-re upgraded the Fire Alarm systems, IT Infrastructure and data storage as part of the fit-out service.
THE SUCCESS STORY
Following successful negotiations, ask-re were then appointed to act as Project Manager to undertake the fit-out of 5000 sq ft of office space. Once this project was completed, ask-re were then further instructed to act on client’s behalf to negotiate a dilapidations agreement with the previous Landlords.
